Stripped down country roots, Hiway 51 was formed in late 2012, by Three like-minded musicians with a Desire to play classic country/hillbilly music of the 50s and 60s.

Front Man Paul Barker's Engaging presence is Reminiscent of his Elvis influences and Guitarist Phil Carwardine makes for great viewing with his seemingly effortless technique. Upright Bass man Ingmar Paul Creates a powerful Rockabilly Rhythm to complete this classic Authentic sound.

Ingmar met Thame's Vintage and Modern Guitars shop owner Phil During a Visit and introduced 'The Daytonas' front man Paul. Since Then the three have been busy working on their Album, playing the country circuit and radio sessions.
