Nubiyan Twist

Nubiyan Twist are a 10 piece outfit based in Leeds/London, fusing groove driven music from around the world with soundsystem culture and jazz inspired improvisation.

A culmination of musicians, dj's and producers alike, the band strives to encourage artistic and social unity between different cultures and musical styles.

Over the band's two year lifespan they have collaborated with Ruby Wood (Submotion Orchestra) and played alongside De La Soul, Bonobo, Quantic, MF Doom, Robert Glasper Experiment, The Beat, DJ Vadim & DJ.

With two one-off releases under their belt, Nubiyan Twist are currently working on their debut record. It is is being recorded at Henwood Studios in Oxfordshire and is set for release this Summer.
